A comfortably, contemporary classic family extension to suit the clients casual yet outdoors focused lifestyle. The design needed to sit well with the existing house, in terms of proportion and look. The existing rooms were renovated to reflect the clean, easy style of the client, with a polish and sophistication of finishes, furniture and textures. The new living, dining and cooking spaces provide the client an entirely new interactive zone. Open planning allows the internal spaces, to sit in unison or independently from each other while opening to the exterior floating deck area. A subtle, yet rich palette of existing and new stones, recycled and reconstituted timbers, organic fabrics and leathers create an environment which is timeless and beautiful.
